Part-Time

Salary Range: $18 Hourly

Position: Operations & Events Team Member
Hours: Working hours will include some weekdays and event-based weeknights, weekends, and holidays.  *We will be flexible with student schedules.

Purpose: Assist Venue Director before, during, and after events.  May require guest services on occasion.

Areas of responsibility: 

• Set up, teardown, and clean-up of events according to the specifications provided by the venue director.

• Ensure that all tables, chairs, event equipment are set up correctly and in a timely manner.

• Assist in the loading and unloading of equipment and supplies.

• Perform event opening and closing checklists

• Respond to guest inquiries and special requests promptly and professionally; notify director of complaints or unusual situations. 

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the event space before, during, and after the event.

• Communicate effectively with the venue director and other team members to ensure the success of the event.

• Other duties as assigned 

Requirements: 

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Physically able to lift and carry heavy objects (25+ lbs), stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.

• Willingness to learn and take direction.

Bar Team

Part-Time

Salary Range: $14 Hourly + tips

Position: Event Bartender
Hours: Working hours will include some weekdays and event-based weeknights, weekends, and holidays.  

Purpose: Provide prompt and courteous service to guests and assist Venue Director during events.  

Areas of responsibility: 

• Perform bar opening and closing checklists.

• Notify Director of any complaints or unusual situations. 

• Prepare and serve a selection of mixed drinks, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages.  

• Use DSE’s point-of-sale system and ensure customer orders are properly entered, and checks closed.

• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements: 

• Previous experience as a bartender is preferred but not required.

• Must be 21 years of age.

• Must be ServSafe Certified. Diamond Spur will facilitate certification for those that are not.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
